Entry Fee

Discounted fee of $30 if mailed by 02/15 or paid online by 02/22. Regular fee of $35 at the door. Additional $15 discount for first-time players in a USCF-rated tournament in the Under 1000 section.

Prizes

Top three in Premier Section: invitations to MA Girls' Invitational Championship to compete to represent MA in 2025 Ruth Haring National Girls Tournament of Champions. Trophies to top 3 in each section. Premier $65, $50, $45; U1000 $35, $30, $25

Round 1 starts at 10 a.m. Other rounds start ASAP

Description

Official February ratings are used for pairings.

Open to girls in grades K-12.

Premier section is restricted to students rated 800 and above. Sections may be combined.

Both sections are open to out-of-state players

All electronic devices must be turned off completely and stored out of sight.
Players are forbidden to have electronic devices on them at any time during the game.

In the interest of the players, no spectators are allowed in the playing hall when games are in progress.

Penalties are at the discretion of the TD and may include reducing the remaining time of the offending player or declaring the game to be lost by the offending player.

MA Girls' Invitational Championship will be a 6-players round robin. 3 players from this qualifier + last year’s winner+2 top rated (official regular March rating)
